The piano is a wonderfully self-contained instrument and from the very beginning of her career Lisa has enjoyed communicating with an audience as a solo performer.  She gained a first in the performance element of her degree and gave numerous recitals upon graduating.  Very soon she discovered that her true passion was for the specialist, and often overlooked, role of the accompanist but she still maintains elements of solo performance in her career through her lecture recitals on Jane Austen’s music (please click on the Musitiquity link to find out more).  Coupled with that she has performed at numerous prestigious private functions from Royal Marines mess dinners to society weddings and always enjoys bringing music to people and creating atmosphere in this more relaxed environment as a foil to the pressures of the concert hall.
