Amusing Aunt Jane

As part of a year long project funded by Arts Council England, Lisa has recorded a C.D. of keyboard music from the Austen family music collection.  These are pieces that Jane would have known and played with works by composers that have been lost to time, but who were the mainstay of Regency ‘playlists’.

The album has been recorded on a modern Steinway but provides links to filmed, costumed performances and talks about the repertoire using a Broadwood square piano from 1826.
